What an office clearance includes

Workstations, task chairs, pedestals once they are empty, meeting tables, soft seating, and a reasonable amount of boxed packaging. Screens, PCs, printers and cables are e-waste disposal and should be piled separately so they are not mixed with wood and metal at the dock. We can take them in the same visit.

A single room is a short job. A whole floor is a sequenced one: goods lift, a dock that couriers are also using, and a time when staff are not at the desks. Business Bay, DIFC and Dubai Silicon Oasis are where we do this most. Each has its own security desk. The floor number and the building name are the booking, not the district alone.

What is out of scope

We do not empty drawers of confidential paper into sacks. Records stay your decision. If a pedestal is locked and you want it gone anyway, say so and unlock it or accept that the contents go with it uninspected. We do not image laptops or issue a data-destruction certificate unless that was agreed in writing before the day. Assume it is not included.

Fitted joinery, raised-floor tiles, glazed partitions still fixed to the slab, and builders’ rubble are not a furniture clearance. Partitions that are already down can go. Live strip-out waste is construction debris removal. Paint, adhesives and gas cylinders left by a contractor stay out. A shop clearance is a different asset list. Do not book an office crew for retail stock and call it the same thing.

Out of hours, because the office is open

Most Dubai offices want the work before staff arrive or after they leave. That is normal. The limit is the dock and the night security shift, not our willingness. Send the earliest time the shutter opens and whether the goods lift has to be isolated. Out-of-hours clearance explains the questions your facility manager will ask you. We answer the same ones.

On a live floor we stage waste inside the room being cleared, not along a client corridor. If only part of the office is going, mark it. We will not take a desk that still has someone’s monitor on it because it was nearest the lift. Reception furniture is included only when you say the reception is in scope.

How to get a fixed quote

Send wide photos of the floor, a count of desks if you know it, and whether IT is included. Add the building’s loading rules if you have them. The quote covers crew, truck and disposal of the agreed items. It does not include making good the floor, painting, or a scissor lift. If the photos are old and the floor has doubled, the quote changes before we load, not after.

A small office of a few desks can be same-day junk removal when the dock is free. A full floor cannot. Deira and Al Barsha offices are often walk-up or freight-lift buildings with tighter stairs than Business Bay. Say so. The crew size follows the photos and the stairs, not a standard “office package”. If the office is inside a residential tower, the residents’ lift rules still apply even though the tenant is a company. Send that fact with the floor number. It changes the hour we can work more than the number of chairs does. A residential quiet-hour rule can wipe out an early office slot even when the company is ready.
