E-waste disposal in Dubai for screens, PCs and small electronics

E-Waste Disposal

E-waste is the electrical items that should not ride in a black bag with the kitchen rubbish: televisions, computers, printers, phones, cables and small appliances with plugs. This page is the collection from your office or home. The rules and the routes are explained in the e-waste guide. Read that if you are deciding whether an item can be reused. Book here when it is leaving.

01

What we collect

Televisions and monitors, desktop PCs and laptops, printers, routers, desk phones, cables, keyboards, and small domestic electrics such as microwaves and fans when they are part of the same pickup. A single TV is often booked with appliance disposal, which also covers fridges and washers. Use this page when the load is mostly electronics, especially from an office.

Office floors in DIFC, Business Bay and Dubai Silicon Oasis produce this by the desk. An office clearance can include the e-waste in the same visit if it is photographed separately from the desks. Homes in Al Barsha and Mirdif more often have one TV, a dead printer and a box of cables.

02

What we do not promise

We do not wipe drives on site and we do not hand you a recycling certificate unless that paperwork was agreed before the booking. Assume a normal collection does not include certified destruction. If a client contract requires a certificate, ask first. The IT equipment guide is blunt about this, and so are we. Back up and wipe anything that matters before it reaches the truck.

Batteries that are swollen or leaking should be kept out of the crate and mentioned. We do not take medical equipment, laboratory devices or anything that has held chemicals. Fridges and air conditioners are appliances with their own handling, booked as appliance disposal, not tossed into a cable box. A crate of unknown circuit boards from a warehouse is estate and warehouse clearance only when you can say what it is.

How electronics leave a Dubai building

Screens are awkward rather than heavy, and they crack if they travel loose against a metal desk frame. We keep them upright enough not to flex, and separate from the furniture. In a tower the goods lift still applies. A television is a bulky item to a facility manager even when it feels domestic to you. Name the building.

Cables are bagged, not trailed. A “box of wires” that is actually six monitors is a different quote. Photograph the stack. Same-day junk removal is realistic for a home TV or a small office crate. A full floor of PCs is a planned commercial slot, often out of hours so the screens are not walked past a client reception.

04

Where the items go

Electrical items are separated from general rubbish and passed toward licensed handling rather than the household stream. Usable equipment is not ours to donate unless you have already arranged a recipient. We do not promise a school or a charity will take a ten-year-old printer. If reuse is confirmed, tell us the address. Otherwise the item is waste and is treated as waste.

The guide covers municipality routes and why a TV should not go in the chute. This service is for when those routes do not fit the handover time or the item is upstairs with no one to carry it. Send the photo, the floor and whether any device still holds data you care about. We will quote the carry and the disposal. We will not invent a certificate to make a form look complete. If the stack includes a fridge or an AC unit, name those as appliances in the same message so the crew brings the right handling, not only a crate for cables and a hope that the heavy white goods will “fit somehow”. A fridge on a stair is a different carry from a monitor in a crate, and the quote should say so before anyone is on the stair. Name the floor as well. A fourth-floor walk-up is not the same job as a ground-floor office.
