The Lakes
The Lakes is the Emirates Living community of townhouses and villas around the water, next to The Springs and The Meadows but not the same streets. This page is only The Lakes. Springs and Meadows already have their own page. Access is a community gate, a driveway and internal stairs. There is no service lift to book. Townhouse furniture comes down internal stairs with a crew. A mixed pile that is not furniture is a one-off rubbish pickup. The bulky-waste guide is the address check.
Townhouses, landings and the top floor
Most Lakes homes are townhouses. The heavy piece is often on the bedroom floor, and the landing is the constraint. We dismantle wardrobes before the turn. Townhouse clearance is the order: top floor, stairs, then the outside store. Do not carry the wardrobe down yourself first and leave it jammed.
Sub-communities such as the lakeside clusters have different parking layouts. Send the cluster name your gate uses. “Near the lake” describes half the community. The villa or townhouse number is what the guard asks for.
Stores, gardens and what is not a tower job
A ground-floor store or a side passage usually holds the old fridge, the cardboard and the outdoor cushions. Include it. Appliance disposal and furniture removal share the visit. Garden waste removal is the cuttings and soil, photographed separately so the weight is visible.
This is not Dubai Marina. Do not expect a service-lift form, and do not expect us to treat a three-storey townhouse as a 40-minute tower stop. The time is the stairs.
Emirates Living gates
The community entrance logs vehicles. Have the number ready and, if a move is supposed to be registered, register it. We provide the plate. Weekend arrivals are fine when the bay is free. They are slow when visitor parking around the lakes is full and the only stop is a fire lane.
The Lakes is planned with The Springs & Meadows and Jumeirah Park. A full move-out clearance should be booked against the handover time, with photos the day before if the house is crowded.
