Mattress disposal in Dubai, from the bedroom to the truck

What we collect

Single, double, queen and king mattresses, guest mattresses, and the torn or stained ones a charity will not take. We also take the bed base, headboard and slats in the same visit when they are in the photos. A mattress on its own is a normal booking. A whole bed is furniture removal with the mattress included, and it should be described that way so the tools for a frame are on the truck.

Toppers and protectors can come too if they are bagged. A powered base or an adjustable bed is heavier and sometimes plugged in. Tell us. We do not disconnect hard-wired electrics. A plug-in base can be unplugged and taken if the route allows. Wet or heavily contaminated mattresses must be declared. They change the wrap and whether we can put them with other items.

What we do not take, and what we will not do

We do not drag a mattress through a passenger lift because the service lift was busy, and we do not lower one from a balcony. If the building has refused the lift, the job moves. We also do not decide that a charity will accept it. If you have a confirmed recipient, the collection might be a delivery rather than disposal. Say so. Otherwise we treat it as waste.

Bed bugs and severe contamination need to be mentioned before we arrive. Hiding them wastes the slot and risks the rest of the load. We may still take the mattress, wrapped, or we may tell you it needs a different handling step first. Medical waste and anything that is not the mattress and its bed do not ride along inside the wrap.

Towers, villas and the route

In Dubai Marina, JLT, JBR and Downtown Dubai the constraint is the service lift and the corridor turns, not the weight. A king mattress that bends slightly still needs a clear landing. The guide explains what to measure. On the day we bring wrap if the building requires it, protect the lift, and keep the mattress inside the flat until the slot starts.

In a villa or townhouse in Dubai Hills or Arabian Ranches the constraint is stairs and the length of the carry to the driveway. A mattress from a maid’s room is easy to forget. Include it. If a new mattress is being delivered the same day, the old one leaves first. Two mattresses in one stairwell is how a handover loses an hour.

How the booking works

Send a photo of the mattress in the room, the size if you know it, the floor, and whether a lift has to be booked. Add the frame if it is going. The quote is fixed from that and covers the carry, the truck and disposal. It does not include a building’s refundable lift deposit, which you pay to the building if they ask.

Same-day collection is often possible for one mattress when you message in the morning and the lift is free. A building that wants a day’s notice gets the next slot, and we say so. If the rest of the flat is leaving, book move-out clearance instead of a mattress on its own. The guide remains the place for measurements. This page is the place to send the photo.
