Arjan is a Dubailand apartment district south of Motor City, with mid-rise buildings, a lot of furnished rentals and a steady handover cycle. It is not a villa community and it is not Al Barari next door. Send the building name. Many blocks look alike from the main road, and the service entrance is rarely the glass door in the listing photo. Handover furniture and a smaller junk pile are already different bookings. The bulky-waste guide is the check when you want to know if the building is eligible.
Handovers and furnished stock
The typical Arjan job is a furnished flat at the end of a tenancy: sofa, bed, mattress, a balcony set and a kitchen of small appliances. That is a move-out clearance when everything must go, or mattress disposal and sofa removal when the landlord is keeping the rest.
Check the inventory. We will not remove a landlord’s sofa because it is ugly. If the inspection is the same day, book the clearance first and the cleaner after. We sweep the area we worked. We do not deep-clean the flat.
Lifts, watchmen and new buildings
Some Arjan buildings have a formal move form. Others have a watchman and a passenger lift with blankets. Ask which you have before you promise a time. If there is no goods lift, the sofa has to fit the passenger car or come apart. The doorway guide applies here as much as in Marina.
Approach roads are wide compared with old Dubai, but podium parking is tight. We use the bay or the ramp the building names. We do not stop on the main Dubailand carriageway.
How Arjan sits on the route
Arjan is planned with Motor City and JVT, not with a Marina morning. Same-day junk removal is often possible for one truck if the lift does not need a prior day. A building that wants 24 hours’ notice gets a next-day answer, and we will say that when you send the name.
Al Barari villas are a different gate and a different crew plan. If you are there, say Al Barari. If you are in an Arjan apartment, say the building. Mixing the two is how a quote is wrong before anyone has seen a photo.
